| A painter, primarily of landscapes, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Henry Spaulding spent most of his career working from a studio in Brookline, Massachusetts. In 1892, he traveled West and painted scenes of Santa Barbara, California.
Memberships included the Copley Society and the Amercan Federation of Arts and among the exhibition venues were the Boston Art Club, Art Institute of Chicago and the Pennsylvania Academy.
