Henry Schwartz (1927-2009)
Henry Schwartz — Boston Expressionist painter, illustrator, and teacher — was born in Winthrop, MA in 1927 and died by his own hand on February 16, 2009 at the age of 81. The youngest of five brothers, Schwartz grew up in Revere. After the great depression his father abandoned the family to look for work in California when he was barely school age.< (showing 500 of 2883 characters). |
