Ian Short was born in England and grew up in River Forest, Illinois, graduating from Oak Park-River Forest High School.
He received his BFA at Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington, in
1958, and his MFA at University of Illinois, Urbana, in 1961. He
has taught at Kent State University, Ohio, and Edinboro University of
Pennsylvania, where he also served as the chair of the art department
from 1993-1996.
Together with Beckman, Short co-founded the Artists Image (showing 500 of 875 characters). |
