Jeanette Staley is known for her still life and landscape paintings which combine elements of abstraction and realism by incorporating collage and graphics in the works.
Staley was working in social services, going to school and raising her children when she decided to devote herself to her art full time. She opened the Center for Artistic Expression in her hometown of Hudson, Massachusetts. The Center held classes and exhibitions as well as sponsored a summer camp for children.
