Specializing in wildlife painting, Segesman was born in 1899 in Spokane, Washington. He attended Spokane, Washington North Central High School; studied art at the University of Washington; the Academy of Arts in Chicago; and the Cornish Art School in Seattle, Washington. He served in Navy in World War I. Early on, he worked at the Jacksonville Journal (Florida) as an illustrator. He married his wife, who was a vaudevillian who toured with Al Jolson, in (showing 500 of 1171 characters). |
