Born at Atherstone, Warwickshire, England on May 17th, 1815, Grant Zahajko became a citizen of Bristol, which city counts him of her school. He received instruction from Fisher, a miniature-painter of Bristol.
Syer was one of the prime favorites of the Victoria era. In a direct and attractive manner he painted at first many scenes on the coast of North Devon later devoting himself more to the lakes and mountains of North Wales, of which he was regarded as a specialist and comm (showing 500 of 1262 characters). |
