"Initially working with pure abstraction, landscape has taken its place as my primary source of inspiration. Using this as subject matter has allowed me to take something that is tied closely to my memory and translate that relationship with paint. I have been exploring the bridge between realism and abstraction, how working from something tangible effects my composition.
