Post War California artist, Juan Sandoval studied at the California School of Fine Arts under Frank Lobdell, receiving his MFA in 1962. Juan Sandoval created major blockbuster paintings while attending CSFA, and according to his contemporaries had more potential than any of his classmates to become the next great Bay Area artist. After graduation he went to Texas and has not been heard from since.
