| Born in Fruitvale, CA on May 23, 1895. Juanita Storch began to draw and paint watercolors at an early age. Her art lessons began at Fruitvale School and continued with local artist James A. Holden. In 1912 she enrolled at the CCAC where she was a pupil of Worth Rider and Elizabeth Ferrea. In 1915 she moved with her family to Rincon Valley in Sonoma County, CA. When not working in Bruner's Art Store in Santa Rosa, she often joined her friends Grace and Alice Griffith on painting excursions. (showing 500 of 937 characters). |
