Julianne Swartz creates installations which give form to light, sound and air. The daughter of feminist earthworks artist Beth Ames Swartz she has a BA in poetry from the University of Arizona. It was during her graduate work at Bard college that she developed her own approach to art which combines science, psychology and poetry.
Julianne swartz began exhibiting her work in 1993 and had her first New York gallery solo show in 2001. Also in 2001 she created a work for the Susquehanna Art M (showing 500 of 789 characters). |
