| | Born in Spokane, WA on June 11, 1890. Stafford became interested in sculpting while amusing her daughters with modeling clay. Moving to San Diego in 1928, she became involved in architectural sculpture projects such as the fountain in the lobby of the Fox Theater, figures of Paris and Helen of Troy at the Athletic Club, cherubs on the Jockey Club at Agua Caliente, and angels for the St Didacus Church. Mrs. Stafford died in El Cajon, CA on Aug. 6, 1971. Member: San Diego Art Guild.
