Born November 20, 1887, Kitt Sapp lived in Independence, Missouri. He studied painting at the
Kansas City Art Institute in 1939. He also studied at the
University of Kansas in Lawrence and Colorado Springs Fine Arts
Center. One of his painting hangs in the Truman Presidential
Library.
He completed a mural for the Kansas City Stock Exchange in 1947 and
exhibited in New York City in 1951. To supplement his income he
also worked for a time as a house pa (showing 500 of 724 characters). |
