Lester Schwartz was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, where he attended Lincoln High School, graduating in 1930. He continued his studies at the Art Institute of Chicago*, IL. Upon graduation, the Art Institute granted Schwartz the first one-man show dedicated to a student's work. He then won the Edward Ryerson Traveling Fellowship and traveled throughout the So (showing 500 of 5811 characters). |
