Biography from Butler's Fine Art:
| Born in New York City, painter and sculptor Linda Scott attended Sarah Lawrence College where she studied with Nicolas Carone, Harvard University, and The Skohegan School of Painting in Maine.
She was associated with The Stable Gallery in New York early in her career, until the gallery closed in 1970.
Her work is in the collection of Harvard's Fogg Art Museum, The Albright Knox Gallery in Buffalo, New York, and in private collections including The Paul Mellon Collection.. |
