Louisa Clark Sturtevant was a designer, painter, and teacher. She was a designer for Tiffany and Co. She studied at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School with F. Benson, E. Tarbell and in Paris with Simon, Collin and Blanche. She was both a teacher and member of the Newport Art Association.
