The following, submitted September 2003, is from William P. Stanton, son of the artist:
Louise Parsons was born in 1915 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of William E. and Myra (Matthews) Parsons. She attended the Girls Latin School in Chicago and the Holmquist School at New Hope, Pennsylvania. From 1933 to 1935, Louise studied portraiture at the Yale School of Fine Arts in New Haven, Connecticut.
In 1936, she married the late Francis R. Stanton, Architect. In Chicago she studied (showing 500 of 2793 characters). |
