| | Born in San Francisco, CA on May 19, 1870. Schwamm studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute under Arthur Mathews in 1898. She then toured Europe in 1898 with the Mathewses; they painted in London, Paris and Rome. A lifelong resident of her native city, she died on Jan. 22, 1958. Exh: SFAA, 1894-1901. | Source:
