Born in Laval, France on Oct. 6, 1866. Lucienne studied sculpture at an early age with several French sculptors. In 1880 she abandoned sculpture and studied painting with Feyen-Perrin and Eugene Claude. In France, she began exhibiting pastel and oil portraits and gained fame for her miniatures.
After marrying Baron George de Saint Mart, she then immigrated to the U. S. living in New York City and Virginia. After the Baron died in 1908, she moved with her daughter, Ge (showing 500 of 1482 characters). |
