Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:
Portrait painter. Born in Colorado Springs, CO on Nov. 5, 1898.

Mrs. Sharrer studied in NYC with Hawthorne and Luks and in Paris. She was a resident of New Orleans in 1934 and then moved to San Diego where she married Reginald H. Poland, director of the San Diego Museum. She died in Guilford, CT in Oct. 19, 1988.

She was the mother of artist Honore Sharrer. Exh: San Diego Artists Guild, 193641. 11 Mal; lnvw.
