| Margaret Easton Saums was born on November 14, 1921 in Wichita, Kansas. She attended the Univ. of Iowa and spent time as a student of Grant Wood. As a young woman, Saums served in France and Germany with the Red Cross during World War II. Saums lived most of her life in Wichita where she operated a vintage clothing store, produced watercolor landscape images of the Midwest, and designed needlepoint kneelers and altar cloths for her church. She also did a series of works on freq (showing 500 of 1423 characters). |
