| | Born in Boston, MA on Oct. 18, 1915. Sheppard graduated from the Massachusetts School of Art in Boston and further studied at the Berkshire School of Art. She settled in Laguna Beach in 1937 and lived there for 60 years. During 1949-50 she studied in Laguna with Eliot O'Hara at his school and taught for three years with him there. Since the 1950s she has taught watercolor workshops throughout southern California. Her work includes landscapes and portraits of children in oil, watercolor, and acrylics. She is the wife of artist Ed Nofziger and today a resident of Ojai, CA. Exh: Laguna Beach AA; LA AA; Calif.
