Born in Lincoln, Massachusetts, Margo Allen was a sculptor, painter and teacher who was noted for her garden sculptures, portraits and bas reliefs in bronze and terra cotta.
She was active in Boston, Cohasset, and Provincetown, Massachusetts and from 1943, was a teacher at Southwestern Louisiana Institute. She also did paintings of Indians in the Southwest and Mexico and painted in Florida.
She studied at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School and the Academy Rome and spent time in (showing 500 of 1521 characters). |
