| Born in Pennsylvania on Nov. 28, 1889. Leaver studied at USC in 1916 and was active in the Los Angeles art scene during the 1920s and 1930s. For a few years she was the wife of artist Paul Gustav Sprunck; by 1931 they were divorced. She lived in Santa Barbara, CA until her demise on April 27, 1968. Her work includes portraits and still lifes.
