Marie Severin was born in Long Island, NY. She began working for EC Comics under publisher Bill Gaines in the 1950s, working in production. She became notable for her skills at coloring Gaines line of horror, science fiction, war and crime titles, including Tales from the Crypt, The Vault of Horror, Incredible Science Fiction and Two Fisted Tales. Occasionally Gaines published her humorous caricatures of the EC staf (showing 500 of 2317 characters). |
