| A painter of landscapes and floral still lifes, Marjorie Stockin was a long-time teacher at Houghton College in Houghton, New York. Along with her sister, Aileen Ortlip Shea, she started the Art Department of that college and then enlisted her artist parents, Aimee and H. Willard Ortlip, as part of the faculty.
Her work is in the Ortlip Gallery of the Fine Arts Center of Houghton College.
