| | Born in Oslo, Norway on November 21, 1874. Syvertsen was a resident of Los Angeles by 1922. He painted several murals in theaters there and some for the Golden Gate International Exposition in 1939. He spent much of World War Two in Norway and then returned to southern California. He died of syphilis in Altadena, California on December 14, 1947. | Source:
