| | Born in Ohio on Nov. 15, 1905. Mrs. Sandals earned her master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. She moved to California in 1944. From 1948-90 she taught English at Vallejo High School. In her leisure she became a skilled watercolorist. She died in Vallejo, CA on Feb. 3, 1996. | Source:
