| | Born in San Francisco, CA on Oct. 3, 1910. After graduating from Notre Dame Academy in Alameda, Scardigno studied art at the CSFA under Otis Oldfield. She was a resident of San Francisco and Alameda until her marriage to Arthur Hicks about 1939. Upon moving to Sonora, she was active with the Mother Lode Art Ass'n. Painting in oil and occasionally watercolor, she specialized in nudes and figure studies. About 1965 she moved to Fribourg, Switzerland where she died on Nov. 16, 1973.
