| | Born in Italy on March 15, 1885. Santocono settled in San Francisco shortly after the earthquake in 1906. He painted murals in the Fox, Orpheum, and Warfield theaters. A highly competent painter, his rare works include scenes of the San Francisco Bay area. He died there on July 12, 1947. | Source:
