A painter, graphic artist, illustrator, and educator, Miles Silverman was an instructor, in the Toledo Ohio Public Schools from 1947 to 1952, and then had employment at the Toledo Museum Art, 1948-52.
Moving to Washington DC, he was publicity supervisor at ACF Industries in Riverdale, Maryland, and Art Director of Interstate Electronic Corporation in Washington, DC, beginning 1958,
He was also illustrator "Jerry Goes to Camp."
