| | Born in Spokane, WA in on Sept. 24, 1910. Murray Wilcox studied at William Woods College in Fulton, MO and then settled in Los Angeles where she studied at the Chouinard School of Art. She became a specialist in the ancient art of Eglomisé (painting directly on the reverse side of glass). The widow of artist Clifford Silsby, she lived in Los Angeles until her demise on Feb. 7, 1994.
