| The artist whose full name is Billie Sue Naomi Stahl Mosiman, was raised in Alabama and South Texas and studied art at the University of Alabama in the late 1960s where she was trained by a contemporary of Jackson Pollock.
She is a published novelist and short story author, and nominated for Edgar and Stoker awards for Best Novel. She has painted over the years, but only recently began to offer works for sale.
Stahl paints flowers, vistas and landscapes, and some figures. Artwork will be used as graphic on new issue of her novel, NIGHT CRUISE. Titles of watercolors sold in 2001 are: BLUE DAYS, WILD RED POPPIES, and RED POPPIES WITH PODS. |
