| Nellie May Stowell Sisson was born in La Prairie Center, IL on Aug. 2, 1871. After studying at the AIC and in Europe, Mrs. Sisson lived at various times in Peoria (IL), Seattle (WA), Boise (ID), Missoula (MT), Portland (OR), Berkeley and Carmel (CA). She died in the latter on April 9, 1945.
