 Oswaldo Subero (1934-)
A Geometrical Abstract painter (abstract constructivism). Before that, he was an Informal Abstract artist. Birth: January 8th, 1934. Caracas, Venezuela 1954-58: Enters Arts School at Caracas and finished his studies 1958: Member of Venezuelan Independent Plastic Artists Association 1958: "Free Study of Arts" association member 1959: Travels to Italy and studies for year in Desnudo School , Fine Arts Academy, Roma 1960: Travels to study in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, England and Spain 1961-65: Student at Fine Arts Academy of Rome, where got a degree as a painter 1965-70: Settled in Venezuela, became Principal at the Arts Plastics School "Gomez Candial" at Cumana 1970-72: Lives in Paris and attends to courses of professor Frank Popper, Vincennes University, France 1972-79: Professor at the Arts School Cristobal Rojas, Caracas Venezuela 1975: Participates in Course "Light, Color and Vision" for Professor Miguel Laufer 1974-2003: Professor in Francisco de Miranda College, Caracas 1979: Founder member of AVAP (Venezuelan Association of Plastic Arts), recognized by International Association of Plastic Arts- AIAP/UNESCO Main Awards: 1965: Diploma and Gold Medal International Exposition.
