Oksana Dmitrievna Sokolovskaya was born three days after the October Revolution on November 10, 1917 in Odessa, Russia. Since childhood, she displayed talent for art, but adults in her life convinced her that art was not a serious pursuit. As a result, Sokolovskaya tried many professions before she turned her full attention toward art.
First, she tried to become a road builder, then a communication line foreman. She later tried medicine, but failed anatomy. She graduate (showing 500 of 1388 characters). |
