Pat "Patricia" Waring Sherwood was born in Columbia, South Carolina in 1933. Sherwood has been painting in California since 1955. She obtained an MFA from Mills College in Oakland in 1974 and further studied at the Art Students League in New York City. For over 30 years she has taught in the California college system. The wife of artist Neal Boor, she currently lives in Los Altos, CA.
