 Born in Guadalajara in Mexico, Santiago studied Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Literature
and Art History at the Sorbonne, and Art at the Universidad de Guadalajara. She then went on to become a student under Armando Morales in London.
She has exhibited individually and in group shows in Mexico and the United States, and her works can be found in the collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the North Dakota Museum of Art.
