Phil Starke became interested in art as a child living in Europe (Germany), where he had the opportunity to enjoy the great masters in the museums of Italy and Germany. Committed to traditional painting styles, Phil Starke studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Central Missouri State University over seven years.
Travel has allowed Starke to stay fresh, preferring to paint en plein air, in a style of realistic impressionism of landscapes and f (showing 500 of 1430 characters). |
