Pierre Sicard
1900-1980
Pierre Sicard was born in Paris in 1900, the son of the famous sculptor François Sicard.
Sicard began sketching when he was 10 years old, even at that young age his work shows his curiosity with the atmosphere of the nightlife in dance halls and bars. He did not have any special training in art, but attended a typical French public school. Later he expressed an interest in architecture, but gave up his studies to work with some decorators.
