| | Born in Ponte Bugianese, Italy on Sept. 12, 1910. Scardigli immigrated to Portland, OR in 1920. By the 1930s he had opted for a career as a sculptor and moved to northern California. While living in Pacific Grove, he worked on the Federal Art Project. Later he worked in San Francisco on the GGIE before joining the Army during in 1943. After the war he moved about, living in San Francisco, Mexico, and Texas. He died in San Antonio, TX in August 1984. Exh: Carmel AA; Stendahl Gallery (LA), 1937.
