| Richard Schloss (1953-)
He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 3, 1953 and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He moved to Santa Barbara and deeply moved by the landscape and light of the region, began to paint in 1972. He received an MFA in Art from The University of California, Santa Barbara in 1979. He joined the Oak Group at it's inception in 1986.
