Artist Statement:
"Painting is my practice. Photography too a part of my life always. I draw upon a concert of images within the context of art history. Daily results are important as are concentration and focus. There are occasional successes surrounded by numerous failures. The better ones endure. Nothing is safe in the studio. brushmarks touch canvas with energy, authority, experience and intuition. My images communicate, or they don't. I do my best. There are no rules. I follow my heart."
