Ruth Emma Sietman (pronounced, "seat man") was born February 11, 1914 to parents Pauline and Henry M. Mayer. Her father was a well-known Cleveland naturalist and nature photographer. Ruth married Herbert E. Sietman, TRW engineer and inventor of the auto hydraulic pump, on January 30, 1943.
Ruth was a devoted wife, mother and a successful, award winning artist. She lived most of her life in Ohio where she was raised in Cleveland. After she married she moved to Rocky River, and then finishe (showing 500 of 2621 characters). |
