Sakari Suzuki was born in Iwateken, Japan on Oct. 10, 1899. By 1927 Suzuki was a resident of San Francisco. He studied at the California School of Fine Arts and was active in the local art scene until 1932. He then moved to New York City. He died in Chicago, IL in January 1995.
