Born in Wisconsin on Sept. 1, 1909. Swerdloff studied at the Colt Art School in Madison, WI. He later was active in Baltimore and NYC while making painting trips to southern California. During the 1930s he painted murals for the WPA. He died in New York on May 28, 1984. Exh: CGA, 1934.
