The following information was submitted in March of 2006 by the artist. Sandy Sherman was born in East Alstead New Hampshire. She has been painting in the traditional manner since 1980. She enjoys creating many still life paintings using interesting affects of light and color. She derives inspiration for painting landscapes from the natural beauty surrounding her studio at Crescent Pond in Stoddard, N.H. Sherman creates characters by combining grotesque pai (showing 500 of 3467 characters). |
