| Stephen "Ted" Swift was born in Monticello, CA on April 2, 1900. “Ted” Swift studied with Pedro J. Lemos, L. P. Latimer, and at the California College of Arts and Crafts. He was a resident of Napa in 1918 and Palo Alto in 1929. His specialty was wood block printing and etching.
