Theodore Shorey Slafter (American 1854-194?)
Theodore S. Slafter was born in Dedham, Massachusetts of a distinguished New England family. His father, Carlos, an ordained minister, was the master of Dedham High School for forty years. At the age of thirteen, Slafter's meticulous and carefully rendered drawings of notable Slafter family homesteads accompanied the 1869 memorial publication of the descendants of John Slafter, a Norwich, Vermont deacon.
