| Timothy Alan Sloan was born in Hardin, Montana in 1940. Sloan graduated from the University of Utah in 1965. He then spent one year in the Peace Corps in Quito, Ecuador and then settled in Monterey, California. While working for the fire department, he painted in his leisure and joined the Carmel Art Ass’n.
