Wildlife artist Tom Sander was born in Bellingham, Washington in 1938 and now resides in the Kalispell, Montana area. He was raised in southern Oregon, and graduated from the University of Oregon. Experience as a taxidermist and guide has given him an understanding of the varied forms and structures of wildlife, serving as a basis for his painting and sculpture.
Sander's work is in the permanent collections of the C. M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana; the American Wildlife Founda (showing 500 of 717 characters). |
